the clutch has done 15k in a 1.8 focus 3k on throttle boddies but last week i decided upgrade to st170 on throttle boddies when my mtx75 diff shat its self
in 100 miles in the new engine and box this happened

i checked it before fitting and looked good and the bite was the same as the old engine and the gearbox sliped right on without any jiggleing or fuss
i was driving home after doing some mapping to 7800rpm and the clutch wouldnt disingage and then somtimes it would and pulling out of a junction/parking it would judder
can i get a new part on its own? the pressure plate looks like new so cant see the point of replacing it
would a std 2.0 one from the local parts store withstand a st170 on throttle boddies reving to nearly 8k
any idead what would cause this ?
cheers
