Not in my opinion, £35-£40 is hardly going to break the bank and I think its a good laugh going online and playing other people.

Couldn't give a toss about the actual game to be honest, I'm sure it'll be ok and hold my attention if I decide to play it... I only really buy these games to play online since thats where I get most fun from them.

Yea, there are quite a few of us on here that play COD online mate... its usually decent and I think its much better playing against 'real' people rather than wandering through the game which is a bit boring IMO.

Sam, you're either crap at the game... or you've not given it a proper chance, cause I find the online gameplay good fun.

Not the first one for sure, used to play cod4 and css competitively, and was rather good (not the best, but not bad) Mw2 I've tried giving a chance...my clan even started playing leagues, but I hated it, hitboxes are rubbish (in the pc version anyway), and there's always a touch of lag, that normally you wouldn't notice, but when getting serious, you know it's there. Maybe ps3/xbox playing for a laugh, it might be 'fun' but as a game to actually play seriously, it's utter crap. Also the lack of dedi servers sucks, and all these stupid 'perks' get on my tits! I won't even go into W@W If you want a ww2 game, play cod2, modern day fps, cod4. And through in a bit of cs:s/1.6 for variation.

Edit-I'm not longer part of the cod clan, and just play 'for fun' now, as have alot else on my plate. Still only play cod4 and css though, as I find bad hitboxes/lag no fun whatsoever.

The game is a good crack online,yes it can get annoying sometimes but overall its great fun,the day you start taking it to serious then i think you should stop playing
