Default yb exhaust manifold turbo location

What is the difference of the turbo location betweeen 2wd and 4wd manifold. Is it just that the 4wd drive keeps the turbo closer to the head or is there differences in location front to back.
Cheers

yes,it is closer to the head and the 4x4 sits lower down too.

4x4 will be better in the mk.1 escort.

Cheers Dave I had plan to use a 4wd but the one I had was cracked I bought another of wonderful ebay and it has a crack in the same spot. So I was planning to go to a 2wd was just not sure how much the position changed and if intercooler plumbing would be the same?

The 4wd one is much more compact and certainly gives better/easier access, the cracks don't seem to be ones that open up silly amounts and seem to just crack a little and stay like that from what I've seen, as thought about a 4wd one myself.

Thanks for the info I may hold off on going 2wd and see how it fairs after some welding.

I was under that impression till I saw one with slight adjusting of the inner wing thats what made me think about the 2wd drive option. Will be going external wastegate aswell and havent seen that done to a 4wd yet, but I have a hole saw
