Default Ford SMAX Battery Siren backup up

Hi All

Apologies if this is in the wrong place - I couldn't quite work out where it should go!

I'm looking to replace the battery backup siren for the the alarm - apparently because it's placed under the front arch I also need to replace the one-use riivets.

The car is out of warranty and going to the dealer would be a fortune.

Wold appreciate any ideas!
David

no need to remove rivets.take the siren from the bracket,ie loosen the two 10mm nuts.much easier than replacing whole bracket.its at the back of the passenger side front arch above the liner trim.

to remove trim, there is 4 clips to remove with which u have to push through the centre pin,two 10mm plastic nuts,(can be removed by hand.)
pull clear the trim and reach up,ideally with a light..loosen the two 10mm nuts which holds the siren onto its bracket, push upwards and release from bracket.unclip connector by lifting or pushing down the centre pin(depends on model year)
refitting is reversal of removal
