If your talking about dicko and sarahs greys t4 then it turned out a1 rs built that engine to do 500 hp and even modded the greys to do the same???
If theres any one elses you can think off thats had an over high hp reading then let me no???
Also what power would you expect from a 4x4 running 2.2 bar peak and 1.6 bar held???
And it has a modded turbo now too???
Just this week weve had two cosworths saying theyre power is lower than expected and over 25 cars run today all with realistic results so how is this one wrong???
cheers danny

dyno
On a dyno dynamics, as with other you can get the figures to lie, piss easy on a DD, I experimented and "gained" 70bhp just as a curiosity thing when the cell temp was jigged all the way.
Personally I don't believe it, but it may be true/accurate, a car going in later this month has just been done on engine dyno so we know what to get at ep.

all graphs show the shoot out box so as to show the temps etc , and as for a engine dyno to chassis dyno test, jimbo dynoed his engine on his superflow and the figres were within a few hp ,.
Our red escoz did 606 hp on engine dyno and on first fitment in the car did 604 on our dd..
I admit you can play with temps as with any dyno .. But why would you want to .. regards luke

from what i can remember, there was only one car that span up on the rollers, and that was the 501 brake black 3 door, put up a graph of that, it's immense
as for the smoking, i can't recall many cossies i've seen out on the track that have been giving it beans that have not had a small puff of smoke, be it fuel or oil based, when they either lift off or change gear, not that yu'd notice because the last thing you want to be doing it looking ni the rear view mirror for some smoke when you soul dbe looking for the braking point or you'd end up on the grass or not going fast enough to actually emit the smoke in the first place

Only just decided to look at this thread but.....
Sorry, with respect to everyone involved, this amount of BHP on a T3 for longer than 30 seconds is rather dubious IMO.
The graph is meaningless unless its showing wheel power !
oh and PMSL @ Dave
