here we go again , the search for more power begins
the money is flowing again so i am now sourcing parts and ideas for my new engine
i havnt ruled out high comp but basicly i am searching for 500 brake . i was perfectly happy with my old low comp set up so unless there are new easy and cheaper methods for a high power high comp i will probably stick with low.
i am thinking lightened and balanced bottom end , flowed head etc etc usual machine shop work . but is it worth going with one of the new fangled inlet systems? .
i fancy using a gt series turb this time so which one will be best ?
L6 or L8 ecu ?
are there any new items i should be considering ?
loadsa questions and undoubtedly loadsa answers if any1 can be arsed to answer them for me .
your opinions really will be appreciated guys so please lets have em as im sourcing the main parts this week

Why not junk the YB and stick in a small block Ford V8 with a T3 hanging off each side. Only 20 to 30 Kg heavier than a YB and would make a very understressed 500-600 hp! Bell housing to bolt to a T5 is only £108 from Real Steel.

funny you should mention the v8 , as when we built the last engine i was almost tempted into using the jaguar supercharged v8 as it's all alluminium and apparently will run 500bhp all day long .
the trouble is i really love the sound of an asthmatic yb being wound up and tbh its gna be easier to tune and source parts for .
simon . who can map one of your ecu's ? tbh this time i wanna use one of the big boys , stu or karl or whoever can fit me in the quickest when its ready to go
