some good advice on here been said. I'll just add to it and say just go out and have fun. U need to build your self confidence up again, go out and get a taste of whats on the market place but dont fall for them coz little slags will just fuck with your head and then you'll be in a even worse state, just use them for fun. Ive been in same situation. A girl i was with a few years back finished with me and i was a proper state until a month or so later when it was august and some mates took me to ibiza. Funnily enough within a couple days being there i was well over my ex and never looked back.

Its been over a year since I split with my ex. I now have finally got back on track, work is going well have the car I want, have money and a new girlfriend but I still can't get my ex out of my head.Its not very often a day dosnt pass when I don't think of her and wish I could have her back but it dosnt annoy me as it used to.I still don't love my girlfriend at the moment as much as I did my ex and can't ever see me loving anyone as much as I did her. What have other people done in this situation?

i done the other side, im married with a kid but fucked around with another woman.... big mistake! she did nt want me ,i put my wife through hell and now i either end up on my own or sort things with the misses, all women are fucking evil and as long as you remember that then life should be easy

2 and a bit years ago I split up with the lass id been with for 12 years of my life. I met her in 1998 the year I had left school and we had done all our growing up years together and lift with each other for about 10 years.
I was a complete arse hole to her, as I was young i had cheated on her god knows how many times and towards the end we ended up hating each other. But none the less we ended up calling it a day but I was gutted, lost all alone and in a whole heap of money troubles.
I had some brief relationships like you, also like you they didnt last. I wasnt comparing them to the ex at all. But it was all about being ready, I had a mad 6 months, drinking, taking things i should not be taking.
But 2 years on I been with my current mrs 2 years and we have a baby boy on the way.
I guess what im trying to say is dont push yourself into being with some one, learn who you are. enjoy time with friends and family. Thats when you will be at your best and you never know if some one comes along then in time it will be easy.

alternatively see your GP and get referred to your local single point of access for mental health services and get assessed. plus side, free except prescription charges. downsides the threshold for treatment is very high compared to private, ie you need to be seriously fucked up/danger to others before they give a shit (bad for recovery!), waiting lists are very long, services often overcrowded, hospitals shit and over crowded with little treatment going on, generally services soo overcrowded/underfunded that at best all they can achieve is a patch up job to keep you safe rather than get to bottom of issues and sort things out.
otherwise look on net or yellow pages for counselling/psychotherapy etc but be prepared for Ł40 an hour costs. Plus side, no waiting lists, if you dont like the person just see another, your the customer, different styles to suit needs, therapy ends when your ready etc. downside costs!
