Simon did post on a thread on here how to fix some screen issues a while back

I did copy it into a word folder but its on a broken pc atm sozz

just scan through using search you may find it

The solder joints dry out with it being in front of the heater system in the dash

And the lead can come loose from the back.My secs was throwing up randoms errors intermitantly and that was the problem

Hi,

If anyone PM's me about anything regarding my old business, I will not answer as the moderators warned me about trading on here despite finishing well over 5 years ago

Sad thing is, I recently sold all the rights to all my old/new products to a 3rd party who want to become an official PF trader but despite them asking Stu for an application/details he hasnt replied and I thought this place was desperate to get as much revenue as possible out of every screen pixel. !
The new guy is itching to get on here and offer a repair/upgrade service but cannot !
(Please dont ask me for any details as this will break the rules and get me a ban if I reply)

Anyway....

Sounds like you have a dry joint or bad connection to me
Check all connections between the screen and PCB and also check the main chip is seated properly in the board by pushing gently on it.

Also, is the secs loom and plug in good condition ?
