I want a car that is as new, exotic and rapid as i can stretch too, so e46 M3 vert fits the bill! even if it'll take me a couple years to pay off the extra.

and as for a lot of you slating the vert option, yeh it wont be as great a handling car, but im not bothered about that. I loved my previous beemer vert, you all must be ugly

good lad glad your keeping the old girl. My cossie is the only car i have driven which puts a smile on my face everytime. Its a bit of a bone shaker but if the roads where i lived were better it would be ok. Its spot on.when its on the motorways.

no shit. i hate driving to your house mush, the roads are fucking terrible. they defo were not made for lowered cars, especially mine, with a big dirty V6 in the front, on 35 profile tyres

i swear mate, its a relief to get out of darlington with the car still in one piece, and the wheels still being round.

Sorry, i was thinking the same!, also in dire need of some eibach's/H&R springs etc.

Red was not my first choice, i really wanted leguna seca blue, but the imola car came up local and even though i personally hate red cars, i thought it maybe worth a view. Long story short, looked awsome in the flesh/don't see many imola red ones so all a bonus and the poor lad needed to get rid due to insurance/job so got it at a great price.

I'm in High Wycombe and I'll take you out in mine if you fancy a trip down. I'm still recovering from a broken ankle so I can't drive anywhere that's over half hour or so. Mine's a manual though.

No problem. I'll also show you around mine and show you what to look out for, when I went to look at mine it was the first one I'd actually been in. I had looked at others but they were tatty and overpriced so I didn't even bother going out in them.

Right guys thought i'd bump this back up now ive bought one

Carbon black vert, manual, 02 plate (got my private plate F3 RAM going on in a week), 67k and fbmwsh.

Came with a hardtop with bag and stand (im selling for Ł700 if anyones interested)

Really enjoying no lag and reving all the way to 8k

Not gonna go wild with the spending as my cossie is the car i throw money at. so exterior wise im just gonna get get some smoked depo's.
and interior wise i need to get a new amp box as the speakers are only working on one side (common problem). bmw want a grand for that! so getting mine modified and upgraded to a micro kicker amp for Ł400). Then whilst centre screen is out i will fit the proper ipod kit. then thats it

paulo P - cheers for the offer you made mate, this one turned up only 60 miles away so decided just to test drive this one and it was all good

Also Ive heard there is a satnav upgrade disc that allows you to type postcodes in? is this true?

Thanks mate

To be honest i think they look nicer without, im gonna put protectant on the mohair roof before weather gets bad, had softops over winters before with no long term worries.

nothing beats dropping the roof with windows up and heaters on full for winter country lane blast

I'd keep the Hardtop in an attic if you really aren't keen on it... it will help re-sale in the future.

Theres absolutely no comparing the two. The Ford is cheaply built in traditional cost concious way wheras the BMW is a superbly engineered quality piece of kit made to last. Go for the M3, you really wont regret it i promise you..
