Default Hi pressure oil pump Question ............

Hi will be building my bottom end up shortley on my Esc Cos and I need to know if it is ok to use a high pressure oil pump with the standard spray bar?
do you have to modify the 4 spray jets ?

PS any tips on building it up will be appreciated

just put a h/p pump on mine no need for any mods but fitted a oil cooler to keep the pressure down 2.1 bar idle and 5 bar at 4000rpm

I have allready got one but the guy said that I would have to remove a alloy bung from the pump if I want to use it with the standard spray bar !
do you know what he means ?

Any body know the differance between the group a pump and standard, and what is this alloy bung thing ?

its high flow not high pressure you want, gonna end up with leaky gaskets if not careful

the alloy bund is where you take the feed off the pump for the spray bar , but what do i know , im not a 'techy' guy

lets get this corect
its not a alloy bung its a steel one
do not remove the bung theres a spring and cap behind it that regulates your oil presure
the only diffance between a hp pump and normal is the Ł11 coswrth spring and cap
