Aside from people being knobs about spelling, great thread!..
Already mentioned two of my old cars, my first ever car was a manta GT/E at the tender age of 17! Cheaper to insure than a metro, fiesta or corsa believe it or not! Loved that car, shame it had no floor really come MOT time..
After a few more cars, I then had an Astra GTE 16v when I was 18. It was White, and tuned with cams, pipe, chip air filter etc, and it was a weapon. Used to destroy most RS turbos, and aside from a gearbox dying (my fault!), it was totally reliable for nearly 2 years of total abuse and thrashing every time I went out in it. I would love another one even Now. I part-exd it for my first saph cossie when I was 19, a month before my 20th Birthday!
One of the cars I had inbetween the Manta and Astra was an Uno Turbo mk2, I wold LOVE another one of those as well, but you just don't see them for sale anywhere.
Back on thread, I saw a gorgeous yellow evo 2 Integrale on the m42 last weekend, mrs couldn't understand why I got so excited!

Cool thread!
There was a mint Renault 5 GT Turbo round my way for ages but haven't seem it in awhile, hoping it's sold rather than crashed/cashed in/stolen!
There's loads of cars you don't see anymore, Renault 21 Turbo? Renault 11 Turbo, Montego Turbo, Astra 16valve cabriolet, Cavalier GSi, Mk1 Sierra XR4x4.
Used to love all those and can't remember the last time I saw one.

Always wanted a manta, loved them especially in White with White wheels!!!I had an UNO turbo mk1,c535 ade, gloss black, bent the actuator arm to hold the boost better and it went like fuck, still one of the quickest cars I've had to 60,used to pull a bar boost so had been played with I guess?incredibly unreliable though, but taught me a lot about cars, never had clean hands with that one.never expensive faults, just silly things, wiring mainly(Italian electrics!!).
Sorted gte valvers were a really quick reliable car back in the day, even the non valvers went well but they were the car thiefs favorite!!!
On the subject of lancias, saw a stunning k plate evo today in red, absolutely mint left hooker, guy looked well happy driving it!!
Saw an s1 today that dosent move much in a place called gwaen cae gurwen near brynamman, looks clean too.also a brown 3 dr chevette on 16" alloys!!!

And it's gone so far, rather than "went so far".taking the piss out of someones spellings bad enough, but when you can't even form a sentence correctly and then choose to criticise someones spelling, that's really schoolboy.oh,and it makes you look a nob as well, not a knob, but a nob!!!love youxxxxx
