Ok so a 0-60 in 3 seconds and that quarter mile time is pretty far fetched BUT that car has beaten much, much more powerful exotica around most circuits in the UK, I've seen it both in the flesh and oddly enough read the race reviews of how it beat Escort Cossies and RS500's and other quick non-Ford's and thought that's impressive - even with a 'snow plough' on the front as you've picked on.

Pretty sure it's about 180bhp's worth of HT Racing engine in a shell that must weight sub 700kg's, you do the maths!

Dear oh dear!!!

well mine has 350bhp and weighs 710kg.......i can get around 3.5 secs to 60 if i get it spot on perfect so i dont think a 180bhp front wheel drive car will be doing it, even if he does have slicks

I follow that championship and have read alot about it. Its a wicked little car and he can do doubt drive it very very well It was at ND over the farside of the infield, and I had a look over it. very interesting little car

But sub 3 sec 0-60 is just poooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

i have no problem with the cars track ability , i for one know that little light cars can deal with far more powerful machinery. my problem is the max power style performance figures! the guy does himself no favours!

No Darren but it's a VERY quick race car and actually COMPETES in a real championship against 500s etc... and beats them! Fair play to the guy (who obviously wanted to 'hard' sell the car... something we're probably all guilty of when selling up).

agree entirely.... but don't forget like myself there are loads of people who actually don't know of this car and when you read a sub 3 second claim in an advert like that... it hardly encourages you to take a look at the car or even make a bid!

Martin,
If yours ever comes up for sale, I imagine you will be posting the following performance figures to "help" the sale, as it is obviously the "done" thing .

Top speed: 250mph (recorded 227mph at Brunters).
0-60: 1.7s with slicks
0-100: 4.59 with slicks
standing quarter: 9.35 @ 157mph (NO GAS!)

Engine dynoed at 767bhp (NO GAS!).

Holder of caravan towing record (163.01mph).

For sale, Sierra Cosworth 3 door 4x4.

This very car won last years formula 1 championship beating that Mr shoemakers Ferrari by over 3 hours at the Brand hatch race It is capable of Warp factor 11 and can acheive 0-light speed in just under a nano-second
