Default Sleepwalking?

Im trying to explain to myself what happened last night and well its really kinda freaked me out! lol

I went to bed early last night as i've been really tired, feelin ill, and aching all over so thought i would benefit from an early one. I set my alarm clock as usual for 4.15, and went to sleep!

I woke up about 3am, looked for the time....no alarm clock? The leads for power and the vibrating adaptor(its a alarm for the deaf) were on the bedside table, so there i am looking around for the clock itself...i eventually found it in the living room??

I can't explain how it got from the bedroom to the living room? I live on my own but can't quite believe that i could have unplugged both leads, and taken it to the living room in my sleep? or could i?

I had also managed to send a message to someone, on facebook, on my mobile! The message didn't make any sense at all just letters but very weird, and i was definately asleep at the time the message was sent!?

Has anyone else had anything like this...?

not quite the same thing but almost is once we were having building work done and the builders tool storage area was our garage so for a few nights i had to leave my escort turbo out on the drive. One night i had a dream someone was trying to steal it which made me get up without realising and go downstairs and go check it and make sure it was locked etc. I only really woke up and realised it was dream etc when i was outside, in my boxers checking round it. Was properly confused with myself and so then went back in and back to bed. Then a little while later that night i had the same dream again and would u believe it, i found myself in the same situation, outside in my kacks, keys in my hand checking it was alarmed. The beeping of the alarm was what woke me each time. Bizarre!

Lol - i bet you've had a bit of fun finding out what you did - like getting bladdered and forgetting a night on the town only for your mates to give you a run-down the next day.

Many moons ago i had a mate staying on the floor in a sleeing bag - when we woke to the alarm clock, and he flicked the light switch nothing happened, to which i said 'the bulb is in my top draw' - i had no idea why it was there or how i knew, but sure enough there is was!

sounds perfectly possible. It may not be sleepwalking in the medical sense but it is perfectly possible for you to wake, do something and fall asleep again while only having been in partial conciousness and hence not remembering it the next day.

the brain is very very powerful!! When i was really nuts i went AWOL for a day walking all over the countryside after a trauma in some kind of shock state and i have a blank of about 8 hours. The people who found me said i was eyes open but nobody home. So if the body can walk across the country side, negotiate roads etc for 8 hours on its own operating purely in the subconcious (different to unconcious) then im sure your perfectly capable of moving the alarm clock, dressing, sending a garbled text etc while in a semi-sleep state and not remembering.

so dont worry!!

i'm bad for sleepwalking, fighting, eating and all sorts of other shit. I quite often quickly roll over and grab my girlfriend just as she goes to fall out the bed/off a boat/over a cliff and she gets pissed off cause she was actually lying sound asleep.

the other week i jumped out my bed and sat on the rug too scared to move cause the floor was collapsing under me and last week i was shaking the wardrope trying to fight a man and a dog

fuck me i need help
