Could Spadge now have THE fastest RS Turbo?????????????
I ask because when i post up a thread about CVH's and ZVH's i got this reply.
"Whatever engine is in it, it is still an RS Turbo"
So, is it????????????

I think there is a bit of a difference from whacking a turbo on a RS1800 motor 
in a FWD Escort/Fiesta to sticking a cossie floorpan and running gear in a RWD one
Anyway I doubt Spadge Spadges will be as fast as Sunnys! 178 is very fast you know!

Its not an rst Tiff so fook off calling it that
Its a Gartrac rwd mk4 Escort and the only thing it has in common with an rst is the trim and body shape
As for sunnys car its in a different category as is fwd

Is it genuine Gartrac conversion then Spadge? I wasn't aware they did anytihng with Cossie rear ends on it was all live axles from them!! (And obviously no Cossie engines/boxes)

Also, in 1985/86 the Rallycross Escort bodyshells (XR3i) were 4WD and Gartrac built.....those were awesome 600/650 BHP cars of Martin Schanche and John Welch

They only seem to do RWD Escort parts (mk1/mk2) nowadays, never heard them associated with Cosworth bits really!

It has never been an rst or had a sunroof
Gartrac would buy a brand new shell from Ford without a sunroof and then pull the thing to pieces and re-build it! The shells are seam welded and the inner wings are triple skinned amongst other things!!!
They were then all put on Q plates just like any other track built car would be!

Also, what's so RST about it?? - Nothing! Only RST thing I see it has is a vented bonnet and bodykit...
