Even with the limited use I have had so far, I can safely say it is better than the iPhone... especially the speed. Opening, exiting apps etc are alot quicker.
Well impressed

Keep me posted mate, the funny how phones4u told me they had run out and the Orange website says they have no stock.
Danneth has had one on back order for a couple of weeks atleast too.
If I can't get the desire in black I'm gonna get the Samsung Galaxy S instead
Big-Dan.

My Desire broke after a month of use lol and i had 18months of no problems with my iphone 3g! anyway, read up about it and i have a SD card problem which is common and where the phone doesnt pick it up when its inserted, even got another card to check but both work on other microSD card readers so its the phone
O2 sent my phone off for checks and repairs, now have a crappy nokia 2330 loan phone from them lol

for passionford I enter the address in the internet browser as we use it now, i.e. https://passionford.com/forum/genera...e-phone-2.html then it isnt the mobile version so bookmark the mainpage and problem sorted, if you link from google it will be the mobile version. My hotmail works fine on mine, but google it and a lot of people have same issue and theres a few settings to note that makes it work, its the POP3 and shit.

mine came straight away from o2. don't understand why you are having problems getting them?
tried looking for the update on mine but it says it is already up to date?
its only on firmwaare version 2.1-update1 though?

just noticed the desire HD is due out soon
4.3 ” WVGA (480 x 800) capacitive touchscreen (probably SLCD )
1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (rumors of newer 45nm line with improved GPU)
8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture
Android 2.2 with Flash 10 support
XviD playback support
SRS surround sound
4GB internal memory
eBook reader feature
unibody aluminum design
looks quite nice.

The HTC just gets better...
Built in Sat Nav with voice commands... Tried it and works a treat
Loving the free app that allows you to download and save youtube vids.. then converts to MP3, save as ring tone.. So simple and quick!
Well happy with the phone...
