Apparently he is a magician called 'Ramana'. I have read that there is a possibility there was a metal frame that ran up the inside of his trouser leg to a seat that was effectively inside his trousers. Seems like the best explanation.

Does seem the only explanation really, but I can't see it myself. His trouser leg has no space behind his shoe for something to go into the floor, so that means the shoe itself must have something coming off the back of it, just can't see it being strong enough from the camera shots they showed.
Also, he would need very strong abs to just sit in that laid back position with just something under his arse!

Cool trick.

It is possible that the 'seat' has a back, you can sometimes make something out under his shirt.

It is a cool trick or illusion, there is a metal frame which goes up through his shoe (notice he never moves his foot). If you look closely at his shirt you will see the back support. Still very well done tho.
