Me too. TWICE..
1, Decided to spit out the dump valve blanking plug, luckly had a spare.
2, Decided to wash the road just before getting into Silverstone.
To be honest tho not to bad considering the car was still in bits last weekend and new engine not picked up till the weekend before that and i didnt even get it running till half eight sat nite.
Well enjoyed my first FF as a ford owner had always gone in mates cars. Anyone going to Trax?????
I need more road trips to get the mileage up so i can give it a damn good thrashing to what its like with a minty fresh engine.

i did`nt think iwas goingto make it and i managed to get all the jobs done apart from cambelt and fuel sender unit i had 45 minutes and a halfords trolley jack i chose to do the cambelt and fill her up
i forgot to calculate how much fuel had gone up in five years and put another 20 quid in at the middllton services
1/2 mile from services on the 34 ground to a hault!
could have been worse could have been a mechanicle failure
instead i had a mental one!
Ł70 total fuel used 230 miles! bloody tax stations
