Been on the track now as well, signing on was abit of a shambles as no one was told to go through to the breifing so we missed our slots, and the. It was a mad dash to get to the start line, which was hampers by the fact ghat the signs that pointed the way to go were actually for the return path once you'd come back in off the track.
But other than that I think I fairly comfortably outbraked virtually every other car on the curcit with me but then again they all left me once they put their foot down or had to go round corners
And now it's getti g really hot so I'm going to sit in the shade for a bit

had a good day but, the staff at silverstone were a bit pants, especially the locally drafted yokels who they got to stand about the place, either they didn't have a clue or some of them decided they were going to be the power trip sort an their word was the last thing
sort of ruined the day for me
video up in a bit

I walked passed the mat lewis stand as well and then, when I went around again I coulnt find it
I think they need to do a pitch printout as well next year so we know where to find things.

i couldnt even find the middx stand let alone the PF stand.
So parked my astra next to the big fence and walked over the bridge and just sat at Jimmys trade stand - couldnt really be bothered to walk around or even check out the track action.
Jimmy/Dean those lamb things looked like shit on a stick

my 2.0 auto, with a huge 113 brake
other than the stoppers, everything else is standard so i was well impressed with just how well the bog standard suspension handled the corners and just how good the feedback was through the steering and chassis when it was running a little wide or just on the limit
and there i was thinking of spending a grand on some coilovers, but if it's that good, i'm having second thoughts
and i didn't even trouble the brakes, i could have stopped harder, and later, and there was no fade what so ever and, as you can probably tell in the video, i was outbraking everyone, even myself through some of the twisty stuff

the video is good quality when it was 770 mb
now it's down to 5mb it's a little on the jittery side, and no i don't know what the sound effects are
top speed was just about 100 mph at one point (110 on the speedo) on one straight, and the start finish straight was done at approaching about 95 on the speedo and going round that first corner was between 55 and 60 mph but other than that i can't remember what any other specific speeds were reached
