Can't say i'm too keen on the colour but I'd quite like something like this, colour is a bit to lairy to me. white would have been nice.

Looks pretty to be fair, quite strong money though,if it was a 3dr shell I'd have said it was about right n
but I'd want it below 3 for a 4i shell meeself.

I agree, have to say this one is a minta, but there's quite a few 4i's with 24v's in them about for about 1000 to 1500, less if ya look about. just thought that one had a nicely done engine bay though

True but xr4's are getting rare so either leave it as it is or convert the rear quarters

Either way its a cheaper option than building one yourself or getting someone (Fitz )to do it

I know, i had one built !!

Have seen this car in the flesh a few times and its had 1000's spent on it with all the right bits and is proper mint.Well worth the money i reckon. try building one to that standard for that money.

Fair enough point, you'd spend a lot more on a rough one getting it up to that spec.you do love that 24v engine don't you fella???!!!???:grin

Me and my mate have built a 24v xr4i between us and have been very lucky with parts but still cost us around a £1000 on the road, but that was with selling surplus parts from the granny and doing it all our selves. So it is possible but you cant compare it to the standard of the blue one! of all the ones iv seen over the years think thats one of the best.

I like the colour, don't like the colour coded wheels though, bird looks ok as well.
There is a xr4i near me in white never been welded, they were after £500 for it, as my dad nearly bought it, haven't seen it but is said to be very very good, my dads car didn't need as much welding this year as we thought so didn't need to buy the other 4i.
If anyones interested a pm will get me trying to find out more for you no problem if wanted ?
