Where is a good place to get cable marking heat shrink from?
I wanted to use the kind of stuff you see on decent looms when im making mine, so i can use yellow marking tags with either printed writing or even hand written before shrinking.
Either shrink tube labels or even just printed labels which i can use clear shrink tube over.
Only place i've seen so far is a bulk supplier and i dont need 2000 labels for one engine loom
especially not for big money!
Cheers guys

i was thinking that after seeing the prices for some machines to print.
anyone know of a handheld machine that can print em for easyness and neatness?
I've got a handheld label printer but it just prints sticky labels and only cost me 15quid, thought there might be similar that can print onto heat shrink and job done. The rolls are cheap enough on google shopping results but machines are over 100quid!

Thats pretty much the idea yer, some people use printable heatshrink, others use labels and shrink over them.
Might as well make it all easy to use if im making the loom anyway.
Details Mark?

what you need is one of these, use it day in day out at work for labelling everything

Im getting some plastic markers printed at work this week. There white plastic about 15mm long, these can then be put under the clear heat shrink and bobs your uncle. If you do a list of what you want I can get them out to you and see what you think.

I've already got a label printer, think it's a brother one. Might just get some yellow tape for it.
Fancied proper printed heatshrink really but probably too expensive for one loom

erm arent the dymo machines based on heat sensitive tape?? ie you burn on the printing rather than ink it??
so surely when you heat the heat shrink to the 120'C you need to shrink it, then the label will "black out"
