Default how do i cancel an ebay auction that finishes in under 12 hrs?

ive got something on ebay and it finishes in 3hrs and the reserve has been met.
how do i cancel it?

ive sold it to some1 not through ebay, so want to cancel the auction but ebay wont let me.
so i will get charged fees and some1 will leave me bad feedback as they wont get the item

it also wont let me add to the description or edit the advert
what can i do?

Get a mate to bid a horrendous amount on it so he's guaranteed to win, you might get bummed for a lot of final value fees though!

i had sold it to some1 before i put it on ebay. but
after 3 weeks of him saying next week, next week, i got bored of waiting and left him a voicemail saying its now or its going on ebay. got no reply, so i put it up.
turns out he was on holiday, didnt get my message till today and rang saying yea i still want it, ill drop the money off tomorow.
as hes a mate of my dads id rather he took it. but means ebay bidders wont be happy

get a few mates together and tell them to have a bidding war up to like 600,000 quid just for a laugh then tell them to give u positive feedback when they win.

Funny how you didn't think it was a 'stupid way of doing it' when you put it on Ebay in the first place.

You can't just put something up for auction then decide that the person you want to fuck the most is the one who can buy it.

easy

just get your mate to bid a stupid amount so he wins it

then resolve a problem saying bidder bought in mistake or something, once your mate agrees ebay will deduct the final value fee so alls you pay is the advert fee at the start

i dont see it as a stupid way of doing it.

i put it up when i hadnt heard anything from the other fella for a week, so as u would assumed he didnt want it, and put it on ebay.

and y shouldnt i be able to cancel it at anytime. its my item, i own it, i can do what i want with it.
until the moneys handed over i could throw it in the bin if i fancied.

tell the bloke you sold it to he has to pay the fee and outbid the highest bidder. His fault for not letting you know sooner he was interested holiday or not.

all you needed to do was cancel all bids and then you will be able to end the auction as there will be no bids on it

as above cancel all bids and then end item

or get someone you know to bid to win it and then cancel transaction, saying both parties have agreed not to complete the transaction.
