Let me paint a picture of the situation I work for small restoration company focused on classic race cars and karts the nature of business is we get very valuable rare cars in with our customers mostly coming from outside the UK maybe 75% of them are foreigners. Out from nowhere this dude occasionally pops in his bit scruffy dirty looking I think nothing of it maybe possible customer by our very nature we are polite and professional to anyone who walks in. Over few months he started becoming more frequent wondering in like he owns the place to which point I questioned all my staff nobody knew who he was clearly nobody liked him.

Now his wondering in the workshop jumping in whenever one of the guys is working on something getting in the way being ham fisted with everything he touches so my guy got pissed off and told him to go away. Cool he disappeared so for few weeks no sign of him then bang his now here every day, looking dirty smells like piss and swearing all the time smoking inside the building touching other peoples cars leaning on them and attempting to do things without permission. Yesterday one of UK customers came in to collect his beloved Alfa and we both saw see him scratch it then run off now customers doing his nut in blaming my staff yet this pikey shithead nothing to do with us we cannot keep the idiot away I explained it to owner who eventually calmed down and I offered to fix it for free at our cost and refund half his bill considering this car is never been painted since 1953 this fuckwit has devalued it a considerable amount.

I had enough and reported It to police who gave me a crime no and told me in so many words nothing much they can do about it. Problem is he bound to turn up again nobody wants him near us his a dirty dole money dickhead who refuses to understand ‘fuck off your not welcome’

Buddy of mine is in the exact same position! He's a mechanic and there's always some scruffy cunt hanging around in the yard watching what is going on, coming in and talking to him and just generally getting in the way.

The police won't give a fuck as that means they will have to do some police work for a change. Can you not report him for trespassing? I'd give him a stern warning never to come back again, if he does, take him round the back and kick his teeth in!

Seriously though, thats fucking unbelievable, surely you can report him for trespassing?? Its not a public right of way so if you continually report him, then the PoPo should get annoyed/bored of hearing about it and eventually get their lazy fingers out their arses and deal with it.

Does the pikey take his jacket off or put down his cardboard box when he looks around the place, cause you could always 'plant' an item on him and then report him for theft?? Might be a bit underhand and harsh, but this guy is a menace that is costing you considerable financial problems and will likely continue to do so.

If you prefer the direct route, do you have an inspection pit? If he keeps coming in, invite him into the pit to look at something under the car (away from CCTV) then fill him in.

True, however if you report another crime he is responsible for and they still dont do a thing then you can build a case against the lazy cops and take it to their superiors.

Are people missing the fact that whoever owns the premises has the right to keep him out of them? So tell him that he's no longer welcome there, and if he comes in again despite that then phone the police and tell them someone has forced their way in against the owner's will.

i would politely ask him to leave and escort him off the premises, if he kicks up a fuss and there are no cameras about then the injuries he sustained were as a result of you defending yourself when he kicked off

report it to your local constabulary, they have to have a case file opened for it, then when he's next on site, allow him to go about and call the constabulary, they will send someone down to check on the situation and take any appropriate action.


are you in london, if so they have CPSO's for these sort of tasks, and they are always looking for something to do

if i was in your position i would write out a receipt for the damage of the Alfa,then/if he comes back give him the bill and tell him the owner is looking for him for compensation and is asking around for his addy,if that doesn't work then your probably dealing with sum kind of turnip and he'll probably end it all in your premises by torching himself..............

Had a similar problem,albeit with kids about 6 months ago,next to my unit is a massive council estate called sandfields in port Talbot.Two brothers and their mates kept coming in everyday,alright at first,just asking questions and that but then they started trying to get into cars etc,dustcaps missing,tyres going flat in the carpark etc

After that I tried to be nice and said,you can't come in your not insured.dissappeared for a while but then started coming back again,just appearing at the end of the day,asking if they could drive the cars in etc,again tried politeness to no avail.

Final straw came when the little ginger cunt of a brother actually went up to the door after I'd slid the bolt in but not latched the padlock,I'm across the yard when the little cunt tries sliding the lock,told him to leave it and he shouts over for me to fuck off.he'd picked the wrong day as I wasn't in the mood so I stormed over and the little pricks just standing there,saying " fuck off fatman,what are you going to do?",I launched full army major style a tirade of abuse about a centimetre from his face,screaming,telling him I'd kill him,to fuck off back to his drug addict mother,that he was Ginger etc.I had no backing for this but fuck it,the little cunt cried and told mr "his dad would beat me up".I said that was bollocks as there's no way he knew his real father,horrible little prick and to be fair he's never come back.

I saw him and his brother a few days ago and they both waved sheepishly so I stopped and asked them how they were etc and now were getting on fine yet they haven't been back since.

Sometimes you really have to be that brutal.

The boss said to me best way to handle this simple shite was be kid gloves incase he throws a mental causing lots of damage, that is exactly what i did. The guys in the workshop are not as polite, he just laughs it off when they tell him to get lost, his barred his a cunt, he smells like piss to his face like is if your having a joke with a mate. One of the guys in workshop chased him out with a portable sawzall thats when he disappered for few weeks only to return as if we forgot about the whole thing.

Police do not give a flying toss, he was back here this morning its on cctv again, today my boss reported it to the police who in so many words 'heres another crime number now get out my station' attitude

You could always try reporting him for harassment/Stalking, you have asked him several times to leave you alone and he keeps showing up at your premises of work, both of these are taken seriously by the police so it may be worth a try to say that you are afraid of what he may do to you or your property.

hi mate,I very much doubt he'll start throwing a wobbler,he's probably one of those people who tells others he helps out down there now and again,sadly we all get them in every garage it seems.

I tend to get the people who hang around all day,no matter how many hints you give them they just won't go,I've lost days of work because of it.

Totally take your bosses views but believe me you really need to get in this guys face and be quite nasty with him,you've tried everything else to no avail and as you said,only the threat of violence got rid of him.

Another point though is you can bet your bottom dollar that if it gets physical the police will come down heavy on YOU so make sure that the CCTV system dosent work the next time he comes round.

One more thing,if you don't want to go down that route,get his name and address,sure you'll think of something and give social security a ring,he's obviously not working.
