hi guys ive just signed up to paypal again!

i recieved £40 for something i sold and transferred it to my bank account. it says on paypal that the transfer was completed, but theres no £40 showing up in my bank? any ideas?

i have e-mailed them but no reply

 

paypal is a nightmare mate,they held back £750 when i sold my rs turbo in parts. there excuse was i couldnt explain where it was from so could be drug money ect.they held it for 6months. get on the phone to them as they dont reply to emails

 

it can take up to 11 days in some cases and there is that other 30 day sillyness they sometimes insist upon

 

^ also it won't be £40 as they will take a cut.

im having trouble aswel.ive brought something got reciept of paypal but the seller is sayin he hasent recieved the money.doing my head in

 

did you send an e cheque???-f-ing pain those are if your on the
recieving end-takes forever to clear.
never had any trouble with paypal over last 8 years---
everheard of wells fargo-(stagecoaches in the old wild west days???)

no not e cheque.the money came out me bank straight to the sellers paypal but he is sayin he hasnt recieved the money but ive got a receipt saying that it as gone to im.

 

did you send the money as a gift ? as paypal dont cover anything thats done through the gift option. did you get a payed recept ?

 

paypal holds money for ages on purpose... they make interest out of it!

 

unless you sent it to the wrong email address

 

sorted it now paypal sent it to the sellers old email address.i emailed paypal loads a times but no reply so the seller rang them and all sorted.yet agen there mess up! im happy thow because finaly gettin my dcoe inlet manifold for the zetec

 

How does paypal send it to the wrong address? Surely it's either your error or the sellers?
