Picked up an iPhone 4 today .....
OMG, Apple have really excelled themselves with this device.
The camera is AMAZING, even better than the handheld I have!
Facetime is quality as well, had a few chats on that.
For the people that think Blackberrys are usable ..

Most people do not want a case for their phones and having Apple ram your throats with 'Rubber' cases shouldn't have to be to fix a problem that they were aware of and software update that won't fix a Hardware problem.

Had mine a week now and have been using it constantly, calls and pushmail, no probs whatsoever, VERY impressed with it, seems far quicker than my older 3GS iphone.

We shall see. Quite bizarre there is a conference tomorrow. Someone will get sacked over this.
I think the announcement will be "certain people are experiencing issues with signal drop, if you feel you have an issue, visit this web address., www.xxxxxxx.com enter your IMEI number and claim a free voucher to get one of our bumper covers"
But that in itself is owning up to there being a problem. On a £500+ device, there shouldnt be!

ill stick with my £10 samsung thanks it makes and recieves calls and for everything else i use my laptop and digi cam which in total were still cheaper than an i phone 4 and have bigger screen more memory better pic quality and better reception lol!

I like mine as a toy.
USELESS as a phone though! drops calls all the time...
the BIGGEST problem though is just the BAD BAD BAD quality of the sound on calls both sides!
I ALWAYS call people straight back on a land line or my blackberry. Its UTTER SHITE as a phone!
I still like it though!

Was told that the latest HTC phones are supposed to be much more reliable and better then the I phone. Mind you most of the people at work all use an i phone and they seem ok bar the phone cutting out as whats already been mentioned.
I have had my N95 8GB YO! "non android lolz" phone for 25+ months now and the only problem i have ever had with it was having to reformat due to video issues about 3 months into having it. Best phone i have ever had

No software will fix the problem due to it being a Hardware problem that Apple just cannot admit. Especially when Steve Jobs was aware. Tomorrows conference is to announce a recall according to my colleagues at the Apple Store.

Maybe not all true,I've read that it can be how the phones software picks which signal to use,If this is the case then a software fix might be the answer.
As I don't work for apple and I'm no techie on the software of the iPhone,I'll add- well have to wait and see if a software fix does it.

Quick question for anyone that can answer
What is data roaming option? Mine is turned off as default and mobile data is on?
I know it says if abroad to turn data roaming off but if i turn it on now what is it for as all data works if the mobile data is turned on anyway?

Software can fix some hardware faults, ie turning off the aerial next to it when a voice call is in progress may have a chance of improving the situation.

Loving the Apple bashers jumping on the band-wagon.
Mate of mine has an HTC iPhone-alike. Sure it has a nice screen, but it feels cheap and is no where as slick or intuitive as an iPhone.
But then again, I can never see why anyone would buy a PC over a Mac, so what do I know
