I like the 04 plate for rarity value. But only if you keep it, which by all accounts you won't. How about Lambchops one?

theres not really a phase1/2, it was just the cars had a few upgrades as time went by, the pink throttle cable was to stop a vibration some cars on the throttle pedal, 'engine start' was on the later cars, stiched seatbases were mainly done when people complained about sagging.

Cheers mate

Rob that first one looks cheap but has no mods?

Smila's is nice i agree but you said you didn't want to spend much.

The 04 is standard and you'd spend money modding it. Who gives a fuck if it's on an 04 plate Also it's done same miles as mine but you said mine was too high

Here's mine if anyone wants one

Told you i was open to a decent offer. The wrong car will cost more in the long run.

I genuinely absolutely LOVE my focus but if i sell it im not sure i'd have another. ONLY if i knew it had certain things replaced as there are any common wear and tear items.

i'd say go for a standard one but allow 1000-1500 quid to modify it so it feels any fun

why is mileage such an issue, you just need to see the cars in the flesh, mines done almost 100k no and aside from the worn steering wheel it looks better than some 40k examples i have seen

whats your budget, as they can be had for 7k, whereas the low mileage true minters are worth double that!

I hoestly dont agree with the standard bit. Why not get one with simple mods like exhaust and a ds or bluefin? It isn't much but it's 1k you'd have to pedn if you bought a standard car!

IMO the car NEEDS the above items really.

Chops one looks very good. I paid 9000 for my totally standard 45k in VVGC.
And to be honest I thought it was really cheap, looking about at others.

Lambchop is right, they do need the mods to get them to about 260 or so i'd say,
Just to wake them up a bit!

Can't believe neither of them cars has any bids on at all,
But lamb chops one is probably the one to have out of the 3 of them IMO. Obviously because of the spec.

in an ideal world i want to spend 8k on one. and there are a few out there at less money.

i have 10.5k to spend but dont see the point buying a dear one when they are falling.

I really like your one chop but I do not like the bonnet. I also looked up travelling today and its like 600 miles.

Im all for a roadtrip but it adds £500 quid to the price what with staying up there overnight and that.

Sorry mate.

I hated the bonnet too and now i prefer it to standard as it is different! I did consider changing but decided not to. When i see a standard one with flat bonnet i think it looks weird

Easyjet to aberdeen airport costs fuck all. My house less than 15 mins from there. Drive straight home. Sorted.

FPMSL

If you organise a cheap flight and come for the car and decided it's not as described i will refund your ticket. Say up to £100. Can't say fairer than that

I've realised now why you don't want it...it's a scottish car

That bonnet would take some getting used to. But the rest of it looks rather nice, I take it still nothing from Smila? Did you try that other email address I sent you?

Hes annoying me... Advertise a car for this length of time have someone that WANTS to buy it (obviosly depending on price) but ignore them and dont sign in...

Same as 04 plate one, Advertised for 8 weeks with not a sniff but wont take 8K, willing to let a definate sale go for £500.

This Damned Recession!

If i was you mate i would take him up on his offer. I know you say you've got used to it but i don't think prospective buyers will like it when they view the car which could in turn loose you the sale.
By the way, i know Ebonycossie has now bought an M5 (the traitor) but i thought your offer to refund up to £100 of his ticket was a very generous offer.
