Default Fab work? who can make a SC fit my 205?

i can go buy a Lynx SC and kit to fit my 205 for 3.5 all in which includes the rotex SC,

now i am saving for it, but, it's quite pricey

suggested by Will on here and the fact i just found someone on the 205 forum, has made a BMW cooper Eaton M45 SC fit his 205

so, my question is, is there anyone on here that could do some fab work to make it fit my 205?

bits i would need

Inlet manifold with TB fitting
air filter to SC fitting
SC to Intercooler pipe work

here are some pics of the 205 i have spotted to give you an idea. and of the fittings on a std M45 SC

Did Karl Norris build a 205 Mi16 Turbo breathing through twin webers?

Surely he would be the man or the guy from the 205 forum your using?

I know a man who can do this with ease, has all the machinary + experience needed, will make anything and everything from historic F 1 roll bars to repairing lawnmowers making from ground up complete new aluminum tubs for race cars(F1), to mod kit for bomb disposal guys.
I've only ever heard him say no, and that was on safety grounds, ie he didn't consider it safe what the customer wanted.

sounds great, but would prefer local, as this is a custom job, having modifications would just be a pain, travelling accross the uk

If its a mini cooper eaton charger you can buy the intake and outlet adaptors, ive got some knocking around somewhere i'll get a picture of for you.

Garage19 would be perfect for doing all that stuff but I think he is just too busy at the moment sadly

Easiest way to do the inlet is use a TB inlet manifold and a pulsar plenum, Neil Adams on Vauxsport does the backing plates and spacer plates for these.

I simply dont believe that figure, the charger wont flow 270-280bhp worth of air, thats upwards of 25lbs of airflow!
(bear in mind at that level you would be losing 20-30bhp at the crank driving it)

The reason there are so many of these chargers kicking about is that all the decent tuning firms know they are NOT reliable much past 200bhp, so fuck them off and fit something bigger!

Smaller supercharger pulley will turn it faster, potentially the last thing you want to do as they will utterly shit themselves if turned at 20K rpm, which is the sort of region you'll end up with spinning one hard on an engine that revs to 8K (bear in mind 20K is only 2.5:1 gearing)

Does that lad do dozens of trackdays a year with dozens of sessions a day like you do? Or does he just potter about on the road and do the occasional rolling road day.

Those chargers just arent reliable at that sort of level if you use them as hard as you will.

Making the power is one thing, but it just wont do it for long, they cant handle it.

Use an M62 instead mate (room permitting), that will do the trick and not much dearer to buy, as an added bonus many of them have an electronic clutch that can turn them off when you are just cruising to and from trackdays.

to turbo my 16v engine i need a 1k manifold to start with, and the total costs would be quite high

or i could use a 8v turbo engine, but it's not really a high power relaible engine.

so was just weighing up other options

theres a company near me called Constella, hes done a couple of supercharged pugs, and gave a good friend quite a bit of help with his 408bhp supercharged gti6...

imo what he doesnt know about 205's isnt worth knowing! they are based near Leicester but could be worth a phonecall at least

Its not much bigger, but its enough bigger to easily do the power that you want.

I'd like to do one at some point, considered it for my clio but Ive got a couple of proper turbo manifolds in stock so be a bit pointless on that really.
Going to do it on something at some point though, just to try it out.

Garage19 says I might have forgot about alternator, there isn't no proba running the alt off the same belt as the sc and crank pully is there?

Like standard? As I'm hoping there will be room below well connect to sump as that's where the ac sits on the gti6
