edit: found it from another thread
Im probably the only one on here that has his oil chemically checked after a Topspeed run. Castrol RS was out of Spec after just one run down Brunters & had 8% fuel blowpass. I use Silkolene 5/40 which has proved to be the best for my application, showing less than 2% fuel blowpass & maintaining its Spec after repeated runs.

I was close then????luke said it peaked just over 2 bar and the boost fell of as usual to 1.6 bar so explains the good torque and if the boost held on a bit longer would of done 400hp so all in all a good engine!!!
Nice one adam bet it flies???

yes you were very close almost spot on id say!!! yes it does go well, much smoother than before!! what would make the boost hold longer then??? not that im bothered but just wandered?? oh and luke said my plug gaps mite be too big at 22 thou so if i decrease the gap would it affect the map you just done??
Glad your happy mate...
As for the boost its natural for it to drop of but can be down to a few things but as luke says its bang on as it is and didnt want to waste any of your money just to get the car to hold boost a tad longer as it was sweet!!!
Also means the turbo will last longer at a bit less boost...
cheers danny

If the car doesnt splutter as it comes on boost then dont touch the plug gaps...no need..

I believe you can leave the 4x4 sump but you need to grind a part of it to clear the bigger 2wd starter motor. Mine has a 2wd sump so no problems!
If you would like to meet up and have a look over mine and talk it through just let me know. I did my conversion myself in a week; I also changed the engine and converted from eec4 to weber management at the same time!
