Default mk5 fiesta

hi all was just wondering if its a straight forward job of taking the side mouldings off of a mk5 fiesta freestyle 3 door

is it as simple os just taking them off or are there likely to be and holes that need filling or any painting

thanks

best regards

spike

make sure you heat them up alot and take your time! If you rush it, you'll take the paint off...

If the car is still on standard paint taki g the moldings off should be easy, just get a plastic scraper(soft plastic) slide it under the back edge and pull the molding away from the door, it might help if you heat it up a little butdont get it too hot,if it's been painted take care and do it slowely and heat it up as the paint might be crap and peal the laquer off with the molding

You can also use fishing line to cut through the tape behind the moulding, comes off easy then, then just rub the remaining sticky off!
