Default Lexan replacement for glass?

What is the best replacement for glass that doesn't need to slide open. And can the rear glass in a sapphire be replaced too? Is lexan recommended and if so which type?

I think lexan may be a trade name like perspex is.
Acrylic(perspex) is ace stuff, the stuff I use has a 10 year warranty against yellowing as well, maybe use some of that, can get clear tinted coloured etc etc, can shape it with heat no problem as well, decent stuff pretty scratch resistant as well.

ive got polycarb windows in the rear of my 3dr, from plastics4performance

got black edges too, so you dont see all the bonding when they are fitted

doors still have glass in so i can wind them down, didnt fancy the sliders tbh.

ps also, when fitting them, use some 4mm thick foam strips dotted around where the bond goes, that way they wont sit flush against the bodywork, as they will look odd if they are too far recessed.

i just got the RAC window fitters out to fit them when he done the front screen lol

yeah, Lexan is a polycarb trade name, quite a good make really. As mentioned, acrylic isnt bullet proof like polycarb and will shatter on impact. You can form polycarb but its a bit tricky compared to acrylic.
