Private Plate Help.
I have purchased a private plate and want to put it on the car.
I have received the retention certificate and the "Grantee" has signed Section6.
It also says on it befor section 1 "THE ASSIGNMENT FEE HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID"
Can I use this retention certificate to put the plate onto my car?
Or do I have to send this away to get the retention certificate put into my name first?

you either have to be the grantee or the nominee on the certificate to transfer the reg, the seller should of sent it off and got it back with you as the nominee, then forwarded it to you, or i do belive now they can send them off and now make you the grantee
either way only the nominee or the grantee can ONLY tranfer the reg to a car of there choice
