Search subenza in these forums many pics on there along with many comments some good some not so good.
Its a Firenza shell with subaru running gear 200ish bhp with next to no weight from the shell, 6 months from start to this pic, all work done by themselves including the paint, i think its quite an achievement.

Will be Mot'd soon so will be out upsetting people one way or another.

Cheers PaulT

Looks much better than i thought it would thinking back to the last pics , but all that hard work not to mask the engine bay up n get it all covered in overspray also that intercooler may as well not be there with nothing giving it the correct cold air flow

I dont think they want the concours look and yes the intercooler is in hand a duct from the front of the car to the cooler is on its way.

Thats why it was trailered and not driven still got bits and bobs to be done. Still good for 6 months work though.

Yowzers, holy overspray batman!!

The oily mechanical shit is cool, but the cosmetic stuff needs a little work.

Looks like a decent conversion, but no offence, the car looks totally awful Arches are dreadful and the paint isn't much better.

I simply can't beleive you've done that!!! I have a spare Firenza with rotten floors and was thinking of dropping the body over something newer and had shortlisted an Imprezza as its not too wide compared with some new stuff... Well done

I'm not a great fan of the way it looks but a lot of effort has gone into it, any metalwork pics during the build?

I think becuse of the width of the Impreza wide arches was the only way to go, this way everything underside is standard, so all chassis parts etc available of the shelf keeps it simple i suppose.

Not to everyones taste i know but it will be used and driven good job its not a Cossie then lol

you will always get a few who want to say what you have done is poorly finished , but its obviously been built as a bit of fun and not to be a trailor queen show car .
dont take any bad comments to hart lads if you have fun with it thats all that matters . and its one less scooby on the road lol

What a fucking tool you do a conversion that could be decent , end up doing a leapu on it then come onto a ford site & slag escorts because were not saying wow what a great tidy job you have done there! the initial idea of your car was great untill i was they pics wouldnt like to see it up close! is your name berni?

No idea of the standard of finish from the pics but the colour scheme is the worst ever on any car why oh why did you ruin what could have been a decent conversion. Im sure Martins effort will look a lot better. Still you have to live with it & cant see it when you are driving, Should have taken 12months & got it to look decent. I know one Ford that wont be troubled by its performance .

Its less powerful than a std Imprezza as at the moment as it doesn't have an intercooler that works, there is probably enough room for a front mount though.

6 litre LS2.....

You need a Subaru to go round the corners though, cant all drive in a straight line all the time.

Bit of brown nosing occuring here would you not say LOL
