Default Bmw 320 M-tech 04 what to look for??

Taking a mate to see one of the above later and just wondering if theres anything specific other than the normal things to look for?Never had a 3series neither has he so just for a heads up if theres any common problems.
Cars done 70k and service history etc.

front wishbone mounts, grab front wheel try to push it backwards ie try to roll the car by turning wheel bet they will have play, they allways go

And whenever they do go replace them with 'Meyle' control arms. They are better quality and stronger.

If the engine seems flat below 2.5k revs the MAF may need replaced. (thats if its a 320d)
