At the end of the day cars that visit Tescos/Asda are shopping trollies,so no one gives a flying Feck,me included.If they are in the way of loading into my van the trolly does the biz.~End of,its just a car at the end of the day,4 wheels and a bit of metal.

People who frequent your local supermarkets usually have zero clue to what paint on your car is worth, a decent trolly dent in your door could cost £300+ to sort properly without using a mobile dent remover. I got one recently on my rear quarter, its actually left a crease, no ding master will remove that, only a respay of the whole panel and half the door to blend it in, 2 seconds of being a cunt ends up costing us hundreds of pounds.
My missus had some guy in a 10plate Golf GTI pull up and bash his door into hers whilst she was walking towards the car, to be fair she is not that bothered about her car but made sure she put more than a crease in his door when opening hers!! i gotta love her

It really pisses me off when people don't give a toss about other peoples property. 
I was on my way to my mates little boys birthday party last year when he phoned me and asked me to nip in to tesco's to get a few bits on my way.
I hardly ever take my saph to tesco's as I normally used my battered mk2 mondy as I couldn't have cared less about that but I wasn't about to go home, get the mondy and go back!! Anyway, I parked up right on the other side of the car park which was reasonably empty to avoid car park dings as I'd just had it painted. As I was farting about taking the stereo front off etc, a woman in a new E class mercedes parked next to me (of all the empty spaces around me she chooses the one next to mine!!), next thing I know, WHACK!!! She throws the door with quite a bit of force straight into my passenger front door!
I got out and asked what the fuck she was playing at and she just gave me a blank stare! I looked at my door and there was a fucking great dent in it!!!
I started having a rant and asked what she was going to do about it. She just turned round and said to me "I don't understand why you're bothered, it's only an old car" and walked off!!! Fucking bitch!!!
I have a really short temper (as anyone who really knows me will testify!! Lol!), and after she said that to me, the red mist descended and I ended kicking the fuck out of her drivers door! Not big and not clever but I was fuming and what's good for one is good for another!
I bet she wouldn't do it again though!! Lol!

These people are just wankers, a mate of mine several years ago, caught somebody keying up his mustang outside his own house. Give the bloke a good hiding, breaking the arm that was holding the key. Got sued, wouldn't pay, and ended up doing 3 months inside while the wanker that keyed his car walked away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had my car hit by trollys etc , don't get why people do it, i can honestly say i have never done it to anyone elses car and never will 
some one attempted to nick the wheel trims off my car once, 1 its a wheel trim not a alloy, and 2, how can some one not take a wheel trim of properly, on all for wheels, WTF

Off to do a bit of shopping now, been careful in the car park not to ding any cars as i put the trolly in the back of my van.

I can remember going down the beach about 12 years ago with my unlce in his Scirocco GT, which at the time was still a nice car, was absolutley spotless. We were sat in the car and a bloke in a newish Discovery pulled up in the space next to him and one of his kids threw the door open right into his passenger door right along the door crease. My uncle got out and went mad at the bloke but he was really cocky and smug gave my uncle loads of lip about his "toss peice glitter car" and said "go on then mate, punch me infront of my wife and young kids" and smiled knowing he wouldn't. My uncle got back in the car waited for the bloke to walk away then got out and kicked his both O/S doors in flat. I always thought it was a bit over the top when I was younger, but now I'm older, I'd do the same if someone did that to my Escort.

She parked up and went to the customer services desk and got them to call for the owner of car reg to come to the desk. The call went something like,
"can the owner of XXX please come to the customer services desk as your car has bit hit" !!
She said a 6ft+ bloke soon came steaming up to them with a look of thunder on his face, my Mrs was crapping herself! but once things where explained he was gobsmaked and thank'd my Mrs for doing the right thing!
I told her not to reverse park ever again!

I must say I've been lucky enough to never receive any damage, though I have been sat in my car once or twice when the door has been hit by someone. People have little respect these days sadly.
As for Jedam, well, a pretty retarded attitude. Least people can spot his car pretty easily anyway, not like it blends in too much.

even though we take a little fiesta to go shopping in we are always careful not to open the doors into other cars, difficult with the kids and not enough kids spaces, but the number of times i've seen people park up and then just bump doors with the car next to them is unreal

The coonts that hit your car with their door are normaly the ones that park in disabled bays, i see a good sticker planted on one a while ago, it said "you have my parking bay, do you want my disability"

I drive a shit heap to the shops but I wouldn't dream about opening the door onto someone elses car. Its all about respect. I Have to confess that if I caught someone disrespecting my property, regardless of its value, I think I would act like others have already said. If its only a car they wont mind the retalliation.
