Default G-Max Suspension?

im just after a little advice could anybody on here tell me wether this suspension is any good,or could somebody recomend any type.

koni adjustables are the most common i beleive (plus theylll save you about 4lbs, and give you better traction for the whole shot )

gmax arnt that bad but there not adjustable and arnt the best to start with, as a cheap upgrade there ok but id be more tempted by a good second hand set of something for the same price

Had some on a mk6 escort years and years ago and it was a horrible ride, to say it was firm was an understatement!

ive always heard people say they are either wollowy or hard, but i didnt imagine it to be that bad

My dad has had his G-max suspension on his Fiesta RS1800 for a few years and its been fine and the car handles really well

I have G-Max in my mk4 golf that i run daily and i don't think it's too bad.

G-Max from experience are utter crap, only place I would fit them is the inside of a wheelie bin. Seen quite a few of their kits sufering from cracking round the spring platform where it meets the shock body and have heard of cases of complete failure due to this. On a kit I played with on a Mk3 Fiesta I found the damping and spring rates wholey unsuitable.

If it's for your RST I would highly recomend Koni adjustable dampers with a good quality spring kit

had G-max on my xr2, was way too hard and didn't hold too well, changed them a couple of weeks later, on GAZ coilovers now and ae brilliant.

Had gmax on my rst. Absolute awful ride. So harsh. Shook the shit out of the car. Binned them in the end. Went with spax adjustables. Was happy witht hem
