Spend a little bit more (won't need to be much if you shop around) and get an early straight 6 X300 XJR

There's one here if that's the sort of one you meant? High miles though.

bmw e34 540 6 speed, very quick, actually faster than a 3.6m5 and not much slower than the 3.8m5. Top speed limited to 155, mine gets there without any struggle.

There is only a difference in 2.5 and MV6. MV6 being 3.0 or 3.2 for the omega B1. As for the B2 even the 2.5 is called MV6 sometimes. 2.5 pushing a healthy 170hp the 3.0 211hp and i believe the 3.2 did 220 or something. Most options can be found in the 3.0 OR the 3.2. Leather, climate control both can be found manual and digi. Seats in the 3.0 and 3.2 are electric(and heated). So are the electric heated mirrors,4 electric windows and in the 3.2 you can find an heated backseat. etc etc. So no its not a A8 but i bet they cost a lot less in the fuelbill and are cheaper and easyer to buy. Mine cost 1000€ thats with 230k on the clock and no wierd things. The automatic gearboxes are bullet proof. I have the B1 MV6 3.0.
