Default zetec cylinder heads

can anyone tell me the difference in the 1.6/1.8/2.0 cylinder heads, can a 1.6 head be used on a 1.8 block or a 1.8 head on a 2.0 and vice versa? ive heard of people using 2.0 heads on a 1.8 block. is there differences inside the head? Thanks

i think it's the 1.8 & 2.0 that share the same block ? - not 100% sure though

Ive heard of a 1.6 using a 2.0 head. Unsure if that's bang on but the car runs. Belongs to a rally lad I co drive for sometimes.

Maybe the combustion chambers are a few cc's different?
