thats what i heard mate, i think lol, but its only a couple of thou.
put the rule down the centre from cyl 1 to cyl 4, if i am right there is a v.small gap on the bit that joins cyl 2 and 3.
i only got a 6" rule otherwise id have a look at one of my heads....

Not sure about any dip? Never ehard that.
Id not even entertain doing it with a metal ruler mate, take it to an engineering shop and have them check it for trueness!
Just my opinion, i know its an arseache to get it there etc, might cost a few bob, but its the only way id be happy putting a head on a car. Steel rulers, no!

OK ill go in depth a bit here.
Basically Im gonna buy a head to have a mess aobut with - but i dont wanna start off with something thats fooked.
Basically I'd use that straight edge check just to see if its worth me parting with my cash in the first place
