must have had a really shit life - it's an E reg, locked away since '91, yet it's done a smidge under 70k ? the owner must be a cunt to put 17k a year on it then just stop using it.
The comment about it being unmolested cracked me up - the front bumper is hanging off in the picture but it's unmolested ?

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
i bought one 16 / 17 years ago maybe a tad longer as my eldest is 16 years old and was bought befor he was born, anyway it was a black rs500 one company owner from new full tc harrison service history standard car done 170 thouh yes 170,000 miles 2 service books nearly fully stamped,Was obviously only showing 70,000 with 5 digit tumblers, but make you wonder how many have done massive miles and 3drs,but i sold it to a trader with all paperwork etc bills for every service ,and i know it was sold with 70,000 miles ,this car was then advertised about 4/5 years ago with a genuine 50,000 miles with mots for the last 10 odd years service bills etc,so dont think that all that shines is gold ,coz that car must have don at leat 300 thou, just shocks me how many supposibly low mile cars are out there ,OR ARE THEY and before you ask Paul im not telling you which one it is ,as its not fair on the curent owner lol whoever owns it now,

Mate of a mate has a damaged one in a garage in south west Wales but again won't part with it.my mate knows his cars and said it's genuine rs500,in black IMHO the best colour,so sinister!!!!has the 8 injector manifold etc, lower spoiler.that 30k s1 is a fucking joke, only a serious lottery winner with a desparation for one would buy that.going back to the high miles post that is so true, bought a series one about 12/13 years ago now.really clean car showing 99k.spoke to the brutally honest owner who told me the mileage was genuine.... when he bought the car 8years previously!!!it had been used everyday and when he bought it the miles were stuck on 99k meaning it must have been on nearly 200k then, still original engine/box.I used it everyday and only changed the turbo, never had any issues with it.someone on here located it for me on here, reg c515spg,looks a bit sorry for itself now sadly!!

Old cars do fetch good money IF they actually sell.. It appears that the ones on Oakfields havent sold yet?
They still have the Mk1 escort which has been advertised for awhile.
Or can anyone confirm they have been sold as im just going by whats on there website

I watched this auction with alot of intrest and in the last hour it reached Ł21600 by a new member that had a feed back of 0..the bidder had put about 4 or 5 bids in to reach the 21600 and then in the last half hour all the bids were retracted.. So the price was droped back down to 18600 when it seemed no one else was going to bid.. Seemed like it was biddied up! In the end it sold for Ł20600
