Dont forget to jack both sides up to take the stress off the anti roll bar or they won't come out. Piss easy job to do

they can be a cunt to do and some times piss easy depends how easy they free off

I ground down a 17mm spanner iirc to about 3mm thick to hold the rear whilst I turned the nut.

best way yeah, when i do em i grind the nut off the back cos they are always fooked and i dont have a ground down spanner, hassle sometimes but when they come out nice its a 5 min job

newuns are about a tenner a pr on ebay

ive had to replace em on my mk4 fiesta before but could get em done while it was apart so drove it with em removed, weird to drive for sure! esp on cut springs with a leaking clutch cylinder so no clutch
