Anybody got it yet ?. well, it isnt out yet, but it leaked on the net about a week ago. ive been playing it for pretty much the last week. IMHO, its classic em, relapse was average by his own standards, but recovery is awesome.

Kiddie what do you use?

So far im finding the album a bit corny, going through changes is ok....

IMO this is nothing like as good as the Marshall Mathers lp....

i dont think i like almost famous, It could grow on me but the beat is annoying me. a minute before the song even starts and the 10 second intervals of banging is pissing me off.

i like his attitude on it but the lyrics just aint doing it for me. (which is not eminem of the old days)

the beat is giving me a headache the stopping to repeat cinderella man is far too annoying for me.

the hook is just not good enough.

Its like schoolboy lyrics. I need to listen to the album properly but i am massively disappointed so far.

Bands and DJ music is my favourite type but do have all his stuff, love some of the other albums. Bagpipes of bagdad wasn't bad on the last one but agree there was some weaker stuff on it. Eminmen show is mint, tracks like Square dance, When the music stops, I'm a soldier etc.

first few albums were excellent IMO strangely enough i liked a lot of D12 stuff, was when Eminem was at his best for me.

His verse on devils Night was amazing...

Lyrics are crazy IMO, it covers all of em's classical lyrical content. piss taking, disses, emotional. em writes music on his emotions at the time, and everyone knows he's been going through severe depression the last few years, taking a lot of drugs, married and divorced kim again, proof was murdered, lost his passion for making music etc. he even says in one of the tracks he nearly made a song dissing lil wayne because he was jealous of the love wayne was getting, because wayne was writing great music which at the time he couldnt do.

back in the day, no one could get anywhere near him lyrically, but people like wayne came along, and were/are making great music, at a time when, in em's owns words, he couldnt even rite a good punchline, nevermind a good track. he rushed relapse, and threw it together, which resulted in a weak album.

Recovery, IMHO, shows he's getting back to making great music, flow is awesome, delivery is spot on, and lyrics are a huge improvement from relapse.

of course its a huge improvement from relapse that goes without saying, I just got excited when i heard this album was eminem back at his best.

IMO the lyrics are nothing like Crazy but as i say could quite possibly be me.

Im glad you like and am enjoying the album. For me its far from classic eminem.
