Will be good to see a saph on tv again after wheeler dealers,no sign of any other cossies on mainstream tv though,saphs ftw.

dont worry mate, im SURE clarkson has totalled some FAR better cars

truth is, its a 20 odd year old rustbox that has probably been to the moon and back in miles, yet everyone is getting a tad overly protective of it

The E30 M3 was considered by EVO mag recently to be the best M-car of all overall. Some people say it is one of the best handling cars of all time. But when it was new it was matched by an old Sierra with the same power and ( often ) narrower tyres ( many E30 M3s were specced on 225s for the road tests ) . So the Sierra had less mechanical grip but more torque and better brakes

I have noticed that over the years the E30 M3 has become better and better handling and the Sapphire has become worse and worse. A far cry from the original road tests....

One of top gears crazy challenges where they gotta buy a car for 3 - 4k, only problem is the e30 m3's are still up in the Ł10k+ so they bought an e36 m3 instead which will probably wipe the floor with both being from a newer era.
