Not everyday your gonna get the chance to spot one of these, would've been rude not to take some pictures. The guy who leaves there works for evo mag and always has some interesting cars parked outside. most of the time i just look and go nice, but this time i pretty much got out before the van had stopped! the when back for my camera to take some more, and a third time to take some with my RS and hoping he might pop out so i could blag a ride in it.

Looking at the plaque it said PR 002 which I'm guessing means press release. Looked amazing and cant work out why the misses didn't get as excited saying 'its just a car', then again same girlfriend that said football was 'just a game'.

Cool, only round the corner as well.

Few guys in St Ives have got the Mk2 FRS and there is a white one in Hemingford which I really like the look of.

I guess the black vinyl was one way of stopping all the paint matching issues they were having with the bodykits

No it wasnt, thought i heard somewhere that the red leather wasnt coming to the UK but not sure.

Cheers, did it 3 times, once with my camera phone second with my van and then third with my RS. Was hoping he'd come out and take me for a spin. bastard.

I'm not a big fan of the Focus RS500 and I think it looks wank in matt black. I would much rather have white or blue RS or the mark 1 parked behind it.

i spotted one of these in high wycombe on tuesday, wasnt shaw if the were out yet, so didnt want to say anything in case i was wrong, lol only thing that lets these down is the matt black wrap thing

I couldn't agree more, there is a matt black wrapped Aston Martin in Wycombe and I think that looks shit too It's the VW rat look all over again lol

the press release pics made it look a very wanted car. In "true life" pics whilst it looks very hard and has some substance about it those pics show it as being very disappointing in that finish. Almost like a half finished project or a car that has had new bodywork bolted onto it.

Shame really, doesnt really look how i thought it would. Should have been gloss black IMO.

Total marmite car, looks gash to me. Wrong wheels, wrong colour and scooby tint at the rear looks Halfords. Far prefer the Mk1.
