Ive found that its luck of draw as to whether you get any, depends on how quick you are and how many people apply!
Ive tried 3 or 4 times over the last few years and only ever got 1 lot through

As above, they are free and do arrive I have found. It told me last time I was too late when I clicked "order" on the website, so you should get them if it says so I guess

because with most other networks 300 texts cost £36 so your getting a good deal!
Also normally you would have to PAY for a sim card on its own.

Whats the catch then? Do ya have to keep topping the credit up every month then? Or do they try and get to switch ot a contract or summat?
As I want to stay with my current contract and number, so can I just lob one of these in a spare phone and rape the free texts every month?

£10 every month gets you 300 free text and wap access. This £10 also gets used as normal call credit.
There is no need to top up every month, to keep it active, if you miss a month then all text and wap is just charged at normal rate. When you next top up with £10 it switches back to free again. I have one and havn't topped it up since October and its still giving free text's and wap for some reason I have never been hassled to switch, in fact I have never had a call off BT from it and I have had this one as an emergency phone for about 4 years now - from when they were Genie.
I use this phone for texting (as its free) and my contract phone for calling as the tarrif is better
