Another car v bike thread quite funny
I bought a nova turbo the other week meant to be 300 bhp it wasnt charging & the boost was all over the place! so i fitted a alternator , found a boost pipe off the actuator , refitted that & set the fuel pressure also.
Took it out tonight for a little run it was boosting fine to 17 psi charging perfect 3 bikes overtook me on the motorway didnt even pay attension to them the 3rd one a ninja couldnt miss it over took me & stuck the fingers up i thought whats that all about laughed im in a nova thats prob why my sisters man was with me he said go for him i didnt.
So i got to the next round about his 2 mates in front of me & he had slowed to wait on them he was a bit heavy we came off the round about its quite big so when i got on the straight i was in 3rd so i went for it he tucked under the visor & dropped a gear
i only fucking passed him pulled a gap in 4th & in 5th he got on my quarter panel i could see him over my shoulder but he couldnt get bye me 
into 6th & he fell back a bit then slowed down!
Right in front of his mates as well thats what he gets for being a smart arse i wasnt bothering my shirt with him at first.
im not naieve for one bit to think my car is quicker than all bikes but this guy just didnt have the minnerals or his bike didnt.

I like the little car thats the first real shot ive had of it & was pleasantly surprised
he defo wasnt expecting that at all to be totally honest neither was i it spins that much in the first 3 gears i under estimated it in the next 3 gears. I will buy a decent set of front tyres for it see it that helps.

No way a Nova is going to beat a modern sportsbike, look up the power to weight figures. He was plainly not trying.......

One of the guys I went out riding with in Scotland used to have an R6 and I had an argument with him one day because I said Kev Sharp's Cossie would beat me on my R1. He was adament that even his R6 would beat any car other than Formula One cars.
Well one night he was out on his R6 and a guy in a tuned up Audi TT(of all things) with supposedly around 400bhp sat level with him right up to around 150mph where they had to lift off. I'll give him his due, he eat is words well.
I would love a go in that wee Nova Carlo, stick it in a container and send it to New Zealand for me will you?

Barry if we had went in 2nd gear he would defo have pulled & i wouldnt have got so close to him but i got him on the hop & he thought he would hold me off & didnt
Was a laugh but one thing is for sure the nova is a gauranteed ban for sure its too easy to get caught up in things like that in it

Barry thats the first i have been out in it running properly , comparing it with my other cars i would say its the quickest thing ive had apart from my saph with the t4 8 greens with euans old engine! Its a good bit quicker than all my other cossies / evo / E46 m3 its doing about 13mph more than my 440 bhp 3 door at a certain point on the bye pass from the round about to the top of the hill where i had a go with that bike!

It is will took it out today to show off wasnt quite right it blew boost pipes off so back to the garage & refitted better quality boost pipes & spent the day fixing little things on it going to get decent tyres for the front this week.
