basically in my escort van when i go round a right corner quickly like 60 on a country road the left wheel makes a whirring noise is this sign that the drive shaft is going or gone? also when i turn the steering wheel when im parking there a loud sorta buzzing noise coming from the power steering any idea's what this could be?

okiess then well least its a bearing and not a drive shaft. i checked my power steering fluid and like you said it is low so will top that up and see if the noise stops thanks for your help

sideways all the way!
id say split cv boot pal,get under it and have a look if theres no grease in it it'll be making a racket, jack van up and try and pull the wheel off if you know what i mean from top to bottom and side to side,if it moves then it'll more than likely want a bearing soon.
