Carbone Lorraine Brake Pads. Ł110 ish

Braided Hose Set Ł50 ish

Track Tyres/wheels Ł200-Ł300 ish

Oil Cooler ( ignore anyone who says other wise... safe vs sorry all day long ) I had one and so does LeeR21 have one ( the clio site say dont bother ) Ł200 ish.

Nothing else required on voyage.

Just make sure its in good working order and enjoy.

Proper bit of kit and great on track days.

Mine did its first track day at 104k and performed effortlessly and drove to donno and back.

i had one mate ,ran faultless ...just did a few wheel bearings ..
i personally thought they are over rated ...
not as quick as you think ,and the driving position was horrible
mine had only done 67k on a x reg
i would not have another one ...

i had one on a x reg as well.. prob one of the most fun cars ive ever driven, but with out a doubt has the worst driving position ive ever known! u set the seat up so the peddles feel right but then u cant reach the gear stick, so then u pull it forward and the steering wheel is too close. so u feel like u have to drive it hunched over the wheel! the seat is far to high in them as well, feels like ur driving something bigger cos its so high!
I wouldn't have another one either...

Standard suspension is fine.

I agree the driving position isn't everyones cup of tea but if you're that ass'd put a bucket in to lower it.

In my opinion you should spend enough to make sure its safe, reliable and fun and if you like it and intend to keep it then you can do things like suspension and cages and so on.

I agree a 306gti6 is possibly better but driving position in 306's is also shit (had one too) + they're loads older + more expensive to find one with sensible miles on.
