Anyone on here own or had one? Specifically the one with the BAM engine...

What are they like?

I've currently got a Mk4 Golf GTi 180 with the AUQ engine in it, its running 209bhp (After a REVO 1 remap) and is crying out to have some money thrown at it (FMIC, Exhaust, Etc...) but i'm thinking about selling up and getting a better base platform to start from...

Thoughts....

 

Have no idea about VAG enignes so can't help there, but IMHO the Cupra is much much MUCH better looking.

 

very nice cars bam engine k04 turbo brembo brakes will remap to about 260 bhp look mint in grey not as well built has the golf though

 

ive not long sold mine it was an 04 plate black 225bhp version, twas a lovely car, drove spot on and was quite quick, i couldnt fault it at all, i looked at quite a few untill i found a standard 1 though as they all seem,d to have been remappd etc, hope this helps.

had one and it was good for what it was but got bored even quicker than usual.

Nice handling though, comfortable spacious and much better looking than a golf in my opinion
