Hey all, due to financial circumstances i will have to garage my fiesta rs for a good year or so, i have rented a garage a mile or 2 from my house where i will keep it, does any one have any advice on how to look after it over the next year ie still starting her up every so often and indoor car covers. What does everyone else do who's is in storage. Any advice will be greatly recieved. Thanks in advance.

Put a set of cheap wheels/tyres on it or over inflate yours to stop flatspots, if you can then put it on axle stands but not ideal if you need to get it out in an emergency
I just use a dust sheet over mine, have a few of those silica bags inside to stop moisture ruining the interior, don't start it for months
Different people will do it different ways I'm sure

as above really, could leave the windows open a bit to allow the air to move round, some old wheels on it, leave the handbrake off to avoid it seizing.

Maybe take the battery off so that it doesn't drain and then set the alarm off.

Also, be careful as often these lock ups are easy pickings for people wanting to take the car or bits so try and make sure the car is secure and difficult for someone to move. Check it a couple of times a week to make sure someone hasn't been in and be aware of who is watching when you do open it up or ge tthe car out.
