Default Suspension Lowering Springs

Any recommendations for the following.
I own a 2000 Model year ST24 Mondeo Estate. It now has a broken o/s/f road spring, so i thought i would take the opportunity to lower the car, but i don't want to compromise the comfortable ride. What spring kits would anyone recommend,??

Eibach can be purchased from Ford, or cheaper elsewhere. To be honest though, no lowering spring will ride the same as a standard spring as they need to be a lot firmer so they don't have as much travel.
