Default Sky help.....

All;

Tonight my remote seems to have died for no reason at all. Batteries are fine etc. One min it was fine the next nothing. The red light is not flashing etc.

Any ideas?

It's probably fucked and you'll have to buy a new one m8, assuming of course you switched the box off and back on

Dan its the remote not the box, as no led coming on the remote. Seems a bit random to suddenly go when it was fine.

Joyness having to buy another one. I dont think there cheap either.

Have you coded the remote to your TV, my remote won't latch onto my TV either been through it loads of times, annoying isn't it!

If you lose the use of some buttons, take the remote apart and clean under the rubber mat of buttons. Underneath the buttons is a conductive coating that presses against a contact. If dirty then buttons stop working.

Worked for me.

Mine did this. Left the batteries out over night, put them back in in the morning and it was good to go again!

Press the interactive button > customer service > programme your remote.

Rhys, are you within your 12 month contract? If so give Sky a call and get a free replacement.
